You know, a really big part of life is friends. I exchanged this sentiment today over text with a young woman who unexpectedly lost her father a few days ago. She is overwhelmed with the love and support being shown by her friends. As I have gotten older I have come to appreciate the value of friends more and more. A couple of years ago, Robb suggested that a group of 5 of us get together for a Spring weekend of cards and four wheeling. This past weekend we got together for the third annual. Our group has grown to include more friends and family. It was a blast. These are some pictures of our fun!

It was a great get together...and everyone survived the cooking, weather and the crazy hours. To make friendships transcend/last over time, it takes events like this. It forces you to put regular life on pause and appreciate the journey with the people who have helped you get to the place where you are today. I had a great time catching up with all you guys.
